Vial Inserts

When sample volume drops below what a standard autosampler vial can reliably deliver to the needle, a vial insert is the simplest and most cost-effective solution available. Inserts sit inside a standard 1.5 mL or 2 mL autosampler vial and concentrate the remaining sample at the base, positioning it directly in the needle draw zone and eliminating the dead volume gap that causes inconsistent injections and early sequence termination. For methods working with limited biological extracts, expensive certified reference standards, low-yield solid phase extraction fractions, or any sample where volume is constrained and re-preparation is not practical, inserts allow laboratories to recover every measurable microliter without switching to a specialized vial format or modifying instrument parameters. The insert approach also preserves compatibility with existing cap and closure inventory, making it the lowest-disruption solution for trace-level work on standard autosampler configurations.
