Sabouraud Dextrose Agar is a selective culture medium specifically formulated for the isolation, cultivation, and enumeration of yeasts and molds. This HDx CRITERION formulation provides reliable performance for mycological studies in clinical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food testing laboratories. The acidic pH and high dextrose concentration create an optimal environment for fungal growth while inhibiting most bacterial contamination.
